Searching the Pulaski County Court Docket
Most Pulaski County Circuit Court cases start with Search ARCourts. It is free. No account is needed. If you have only a name, choose the participant search. If you have a case number, that works too. One filter deserves extra care: pick Pulaski Circuit for a Circuit Court case rather than a broad county choice. District Court tickets and misdemeanors may not show up, since lower court participation is not universal.
- Choose the participant, case, or event search that matches the facts in hand.
- Enter the case number, or use a last name with as few extra filters as possible.
- Select the exact Pulaski County court shown on the notice, ticket, or filing.
- Open the case summary and compare Case Events with Docket Entries.
- Call the responsible clerk if the court is absent, the result is blank, or a setting needs confirmation.
Wondering how complete the portal is? The Arkansas Judiciary overview of Search ARCourts describes what participating courts supply. Circuit Courts provide at least the required statistical data, while fuller coverage varies from court to court.
That overview is helpful context. A portal search is a strong first step for any Pulaski County court docket, but it is not the last word on a record.
Pulaski County Search ARCourts Fields
Fill in the search fields with care. Search ARCourts accepts a person or organization, a court, a case category, and other narrowing details. Stack on too many limits, though, and you can hide the right Pulaski County court docket. A name may be spelled differently. A case type may be guessed wrong. A case number is usually the cleanest key. It points to one file and carries a court code.
| Search clue | Best use | Common problem |
|---|---|---|
| Case number | Exact Pulaski County case | A wrong prefix sends the search to another court |
| Participant name | Unknown case number | Common names can return many rows |
| Organization | Business or agency party | Abbreviations may differ |
| Court filter | Separating Circuit and District cases | Lower-court coverage varies |
The public Search ARCourts interface displays the search controls used for Pulaski County court docket lookups, without opening any private person's case.
The search form yields public summaries. Official copies come from the Pulaski Circuit and County Clerk.
Inside a Pulaski County Court Docket
A Pulaski County court docket is a dated register, not one long court document. Search ARCourts breaks it into blocks. You get a case summary, participants, events, offenses, sentences, and docket entries. The summary names the court, case type, filing date, and status. Events list scheduled appearances. Docket Entries preserve a broader history of filings, orders, settings, resets, and other court action. A WEB marker can link to a public image. With no marker, the clerk may need to retrieve the filed document.
- Case Events
- Scheduled appearances with a date, time, room, location, and judge when supplied.
- Docket Entries
- The chronological Pulaski County register of filings and court activity.
- Case closed
- A case-level status that does not explain the outcome and does not bar later entries.
- WEB
- An indicator that a public document image may be opened online.
Read related blocks together. A criminal bond entry does not prove release. A civil summons issued entry does not prove service. And a blank events tab does not erase setting notices or reset history that the docket entries recorded.
Pulaski County Court Docket Custodians
The Pulaski Circuit and County Clerk holds Circuit Court criminal, civil, domestic-relations, probate, and juvenile records. It also holds County Court orders. Each local District Court clerk keeps that court's traffic, ordinance, misdemeanor, limited civil, and small-claims docket. Pick the custodian first. That one habit keeps a docket search from ending at the wrong counter.
| Court layer | Typical Pulaski County cases | Primary route |
|---|---|---|
| Circuit Court | Felony, general civil, probate, domestic, juvenile | Search ARCourts and Pulaski Circuit and County Clerk |
| District Court | Traffic, ordinance, misdemeanor, civil to its limit, small claims | Named District Court clerk and participating state tools |
| County Court | Narrow county administrative and judicial matters | Pulaski Circuit and County Clerk |
| Federal court | Federal civil, criminal, and bankruptcy cases | PACER and the correct federal clerk |
The Arkansas Circuit Courts description identifies the five subject-matter divisions, giving useful Pulaski County court docket context.
All of those divisions share Circuit Court status. Even so, each Pulaski County case keeps its own judge, division, and file.
Pulaski County District Docket Gaps
A Pulaski County traffic ticket, ordinance charge, misdemeanor, or small claim can belong to Pulaski County District Court or to a city District Court department. Search ARCourts does not promise equal District Court coverage. Start with the court printed on your citation or notice. Then try the portal. Then call that exact clerk. Where you live does not decide where a ticket was filed. The Arkansas District Courts page explains their limited jurisdiction and departmental structure, with Pulaski County court docket context.
Those separate departments are why Pulaski County has no single complete local traffic docket. The city cards later on this page point to the five largest municipal court systems.
How to Find Court Dates and Settings
For a Circuit Court date, open the Pulaski County case summary. Check Case Events. Note the date, time, room, location, and judge as one set. Then scan later Docket Entries for a continuance, reset, cancellation, or new notice. A recurring court calendar is no substitute. It is not the signed or docketed setting in one case. There is one more quirk. Multi-day jury trials may appear as several adjacent event rows.
| Date | The calendar day assigned to the Pulaski County event |
|---|---|
| Time | The stated start time, which may be a docket call |
| Room | The courtroom or division room shown in the event |
| Location | The court building listed for the hearing |
| Judge | The judicial officer tied to the setting |
If any field conflicts with a later order, call the assigned division. For District Court dates, confirm with the named District clerk. The Pulaski County Court Dates page walks through the fuller process.

Pulaski County Clerk and Docket Records
The Pulaski Circuit and County Clerk keeps the repository for Circuit Court filings. Search ARCourts gives free public metadata. A docket result there is not a certified record. For an official document, County Records is the desk to use. Staff can locate an existing file. They can say whether an older one needs retrieval from storage, and issue a sealed certified copy. The fee is $5 per certified court document. Delivery is in person or by postal mail only. Email is not an option.
The Pulaski Circuit and County Clerk lists the official office and department routes. Its homepage is the source for Pulaski County court docket services.
When you request a copy, give the case number, party names, docket-entry date, and a description of the document. That is the baseline. Ask the clerk about page charges and retrieval time, since the office does not publish those details for every request type.
Pulaski County Docket Access Rules
Access to court records in Arkansas runs through Supreme Court Administrative Order 19. The default is openness. Still, the order carves out confidential material, protected identifiers, judicial work product, sealed case data, and certain protection-order addresses. What you can reach online may be narrower. The view at the courthouse can be wider. Arkansas FOIA sets a broad public-record framework. But judicial case records answer to Administrative Order 19 and the clerk, not to FOIA alone.
Public does not mean fully online. A Pulaski County case shell may be visible while an exhibit, juvenile record, protected address, sealed filing, or document image remains unavailable.
A missing result has many innocent causes. The court may be wrong, the search too narrow, the data lagged, the file older, or District Court coverage limited. None of that means no Pulaski County court docket exists. Ask the clerk which cause applies. Do not use a records request to try to bypass a sealing order.
Pulaski County Docket Technology Timeline
Pulaski Circuit Court ran its e-filing pilot starting in 2012, then made attorney e-filing mandatory in 2013 after a one-year transition. Civil, domestic, and probate matters came first. Filings go through Arkansas Judiciary eFlex, which feeds the Contexte case-management system. The public sees none of that workspace. Instead, readers use Search ARCourts.
Search ARCourts soft-launched in January 2024 as the replacement for Public CourtConnect. Arkansas keeps building out its cloud case platform. The Arkansas court technology initiative documents that ongoing work on its official page.
This history matters for old files. An older Pulaski County court docket may simply be absent from the current interface, so legacy access or clerk archive retrieval may still be needed.
Pulaski County Court Docket Caseload Context
Pulaski and Perry counties make up the Sixth Judicial Circuit. Its plan sets 17 divisions and assignment rules by case type. On top of that, Pulaski County hosts the Arkansas Supreme Court. It also holds the Administrative Office of the Courts, several District Court departments, and federal courts. That is a lot of dockets in one place. So the court field and case prefix do more work. They beat a generic county-only search every time.
The AOC annual reports publish statewide statistics with links to more detailed supplements. The report hub is the official source.
Be careful with the totals. Statewide figures are not Pulaski County figures. Only count county numbers after the official supplement is filtered to Pulaski and the date range you want.
Pulaski County Case Number Codes
A Circuit Court case number reads in parts. Take 60CR-25-3077. The 60 identifies Pulaski County. CR marks a criminal case. 25 is the filing year in short form, and the last number is the sequence. A civil Circuit matter carries a prefix like 60CV. An e-file stamp may add a routing code such as C06D17. That points to the Sixth Circuit and a division.
District Court systems use their own codes, including city-specific traffic and case prefixes. Copy the whole number straight from the notice or citation. Drop a dash or guess a Circuit prefix for a city ticket. A precise Pulaski County court docket search can then return a false no-result.
Pulaski County Federal Docket Layer
Federal cases filed in Pulaski County will not show up in Search ARCourts. The county sits in the Little Rock Division of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. Federal civil and criminal dockets run on CM/ECF and PACER. Bankruptcy goes to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas. Appeals land at the Eighth Circuit. These are separate systems from any state court docket.
The Eastern District of Arkansas is the official source for federal records. Its court page distinguishes them from a Pulaski County court docket.
PACER bills by the page, subject to caps and quarterly fee waivers. A state case number will not pull a federal docket. Know which court system you need before opening a search account.

Pulaski County Docket Verification
Treat the docket portal as a finder, not a final word. Before you rely on any entry for a hearing date or a filing, confirm it. Circuit cases belong to the Pulaski Circuit and County Clerk or the assigned division. Call that office. District cases sit with the city or county District clerk that actually holds the file. A trip to the courthouse still helps when you need copies, certified pages, or older Pulaski County records. Expect security screening and recording limits once you are there.
Reading the Pulaski County court docket works best when you stack its pieces. The summary, the current events, the older entries, and the signed order all matter together. When an online document is missing, ask the clerk for the entry by date and description. Need something official? Order the sealed clerk copy. That step turns a handy public index into the true court record.
